So who is Gramer Grannie exactly?

I'm definitely a lady of a certain age with two fabulous grandaughters whom I completely adore. And they seem to think I'm pretty amazing because I love playing computer games and watching other people play computer games on YouTube and Twitch. I've been obessed with fantasy and fantasy worlds all my life, and I love making up stories and characters to poulate those worlds. So games such as RPGs were a big favourite until I graduated in 2004 onto Final Fantasy XI and then its successor in the MMO world, Final Fantasy XIV. I also love telling stories about my characters in the Sims 4, building zoos in Planet Zoo, and filling houses in House Flipper. And grand strategy games fascinate me as I did my degrees in History, so I love getting my hands dirty in some intricate political manouevering in Crusader Kings.

Sadly, I've also had to accept that growing old - eyes and hands and coordination that aren't what they once were - that growing old means I can't do some of things, like raiding, that I used to love, so I'm hoping to educate other gamers to understand that just because some of us are ageing, we haven't lost our love for the genre
